GAP A.S is one of the leading pasta and semolina manufacturers of Turkey,situated in the South-east region in Gaziantep where the
finest quality durum wheat grows and also well-known as an industrial capital.
Our company first got its facilities started in 1950’s with flour and semolina production and has always been demonstrating significant developments in its field,being involved mainly in semolina production until first pasta production line installed in 1972.At the beginning 15 MT/DAY of pasta production under the brand name ARICA has been icreased time after time by making new investments and importing modern technologies. With new brands MAKCA and ÖĞÜN added to available one to provide customers both in Turkey and in foreign countries with high quality products and fast,reliable service,our company has continued to keep its production quality and customer-based service facilities as a company priority.
In 1990 pasta production capacity has reached a quantity of 41 MT/DAY with new investments and revisions and the company has developed new marketing strategies to enter different world markets for providing pasta consumers of different countries with premium pasta made of 100% durum wheat.creating a competition in both quality and prices.
GAP A.S. has reached a pasta production capacity of 74 MT per day in 2001 with the establishment of new spaghetti production line.During all these years of production since its first emerging,our company made important contributions to country economy by supplying job opportunities to public of region and by various means.
Our company has owned ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certificate in 2001 in addition to certificate of TSE which has been owned since 1980's and company continued to follow all developments in the industry to supply reliable sevice to global marketplace.Finally,as a first in its field,our company received the HACCP certificate and has proven its leadership one more time
Between 2001-2004 our capacity has increased to 450 tons of semolina and 90 tons of pasta production daily. Additionally we have developed new trademarks OVA and VALORE as an addition to existing ones ÖĞÜN and HAKAN.
